27/AUG/2017 - Update about our facility in light of Hurricane Harvey

Dear customers,

As you know, AeroCRS is hosted on IBM Bluemix servers in the US, the servers are hosted in the facility in Houston, Texas which is undergoing a massive hurricane.

Our "Disaster recovery" site in Amsterdam is ready to take place in case the disaster would strike in the US facility, data is backed up every 15 minutes to the remote facility (on normal data is backed up on a transaction base to other servers within Houston).

As of now we got the following statement from IBM:

"At this time, we do not anticipate any interruption in service due to the severe weather in the Houston area. Emergency measures are in place to mitigate any issues should they escalate. We will continue to actively monitor the situation and provide updates should conditions change. Thank you for using IBM Bluemix."

AeroCRS Team is monitoring the situation and if disaster strike, we would activate our DRP (Disaster recovery plan) and move to the Amsterdam facility as soon as possible.

This article would be updated with regular updates as they occur.

Thank you.

AeroCRS Team.
