We are announcing the release of version 3.8 to the air, this version includes several updates regarding our AeroCRS system.

  1. Our new branding is finally finalized. you can see that the system name have changed through our website, system, e-mails and your websites (soon). you can visit our website at http://www.aerocrs.com if you haven’t already done so.
  2. Our new and revised update center, which you will see this post, you can access the updates center any time by going to http://www.twitter.com/aerocrs , if you have a twitter account, follow us for regular updates.Some of the updates will be in detail in our blog which is soon to be loaded.
  3. Report updates:
    1. Update – Agent statement report – added passenger names to every PNR listing, the statement will show all the names of each booking.
    2. New report – “Daily flights information” – This report is by one day of service, it will show all PAX flying on the same day on scheduled flights, with voucher information, payment information.
      Administrators can allocate the report for users or groups.
    3. Update – “Services” – Added the option to filter ticket status and added a ticket number column and the number will be there if the service is ticketed in its originating PNR.
    4. Update – “Cashier” report – Shows all passengers names to every PNR listing.
    5. Update – “Batch invoice” added the ability to select which type to print: only credit memos, invoices or both.
    6. Update – “Open services” added the ability to filter by service type.
  4. Agents related updates:
    1. Automated e-mails from the system like TTL alerts, booking alerts etc. are sent to the originating user in the system, for example, if the booking was made by an agent CRS user, using the CRS to book, the automated e-mail will be sent both to the e-mail address on his account, as well to the e-mails of the agency, set in the master agency card.
    2. New- additional e-mail have been added, you can add an additional e-mail address, when system is sending automated messages to the agency, it will be sent to this address also, in addition, this e-mail address will appear in the drop box for selecting when sending from the system.
    3. New- Checkbox for “Allow groups” – if this check box is marked, the agent CRS users (users of the specific agency using the CRS for bookings) – the check box for “Group” in the PNR screen will be active.
    4. New- “Allow AVL QTY” – if this check box is marked, agent CRS users for this agency will see the full availability for the flights instead of the “V” sign (just like regular CRS users).
    5. New- “Send only to agency” – if this check box is marked, automated e-mails will be sent only to the agency and not to the originating user (see above).
    6. New- “Allow Deposit use” – if this check box is marked, agent CRS users will be able to utilize a deposit in their bookings for the agency.NOTE- you need to check a similar checkbox in the specific “CRS User” for this agency, the checkbox is titled “Allow use of deposit”. Only when both checkboxes in the agency and in the specific user will be checked, then the user will be allowed to utilize an existing deposit on his bookings.
    7. New- “Allow Credit card payment” – if this check box is marked, agent CRS users will be able to pay using credit cards, they will be able to use their own or their end customer’s card.
      NOTE- you need to check a similar checkbox in the specific “CRS User” for this agency, the checkbox is titled “Allow use of credit-card”. Only when both checkboxes in the agency and in the specific user will be checked, then the user will be allowed to pay by credit card on his bookings.
    8. New- CRS Users administrations – You can now set “Require password change on login” – this will force the user to change his password on his next login to the system.
    9. Login attempts – if a user will try to login to many times, after the 5th attempt he will be blocked out, this will be released after 30 min. but if you want to release him earlier, go in to his record, and write 0 in the attempts and save.
    10. CRS Users – you can now allow them to “Change PAX TKT” meaning to change the passenger names after ticketing.
  5. Management updates
    1. BI Dashboard
      1. Added a filter agent, so you can see the dashboard results per agency
      2. Added explanation to each result (hover above the numbers)
      3. Added Filter can show only direct clients / only agents income.
    2. Administration of users
      1. You can now set “Require password change on login” – this will force the user to change his password on his next login to the system.
      2. Login attempts – if a user will try to login to many times, after the 5th attempt he will be blocked out, this will be released after 30 min. but if you want to release him earlier, go in to his record, and write 0 in the attempts and save.
  6. Operations
    1. Destinations – You can now set in the destination, if you have a father destination, which you want to allow “free moving” between strips, meaning that even if a PNR is ticketed, a strip can be changed freely without the need of amending / re-booking.
      Go to the “father” destination record and check the “Allow strip change”
  7. Marketing
    1. Amendment fee by period
      You can now split amendment fee to 2 periods.
      When amending from the PNR screen, you will be able to see the amendment fee, note that the amendment is by the PNR and not by leg.

       

      1. Go to ‘Classes’ under ‘Marketing’ and click the class you want to change.
      2. Write a period in the amendment fee section.
        NOTE – we’ve set the first one for 2 years as a default, as up until now it was forever.
      3. Write a fee in the box related to the period.
    2. Cancellation policy – Include TAX:
      You can now set a checkbox if you wish for the TAX to be included when the system applies a cancellation policy.
      Note that if you select a penalty of “Per passenger” the TAX will be added as an extra to the fee.
  8. CRM
    1. Cancellation policy – the system now takes the cancellation policy according to each leg, and will show the cancellation policy affected with the flight details in the cancellation policy record.
    2. The system saves a log for remarks made, edited or deleted – will show in the PNR screen log.
    3. Availability accommodation contact details:
      1. We’ve added an option to add contact details, you will see it under each accommodation selection in the availability process.
      2. This field is not mandatory under normal behavior.
      3. if you go to “Marketing” > “Accommodations” module,  you can set-up this field to be mandatory by checking the checkbox in the relevant accommodation, this way, if you have a selection for a “Private camp” the system will demand a contact details whenever this strip is selected.
    4. E-mail Archive – Added the option to delete a record.
      Deletion action will be logged.
  9. User related issues
    1. A user can change his own password now by clicking the username on the top right.
    2. A user can recover his password/s in the login screen – Note if an e-mail exists on more than one of our clients the system will send the user all of his logins.
  10. Accounts
    1. Added a filter and a column of “Agency” for receipts module
    2. Added a filter and a column of “Agency” for invoices module
  11. Fixed bugs
    1. Issue in display in “Class update” module – Fixed
    2. When an agent used to do ‘AVL’ the system was not saving “PNR name” – Fixed.
