Introduction

This guide explains how to set up nested classes in GO7 PSS using the "Class Templates" and "Seat Control" submodules. Nesting allows classes to influence each other’s availability based on shared bookings.

  1. Go to Class Operations > Class Templates. Click on Edit or create a new template.
  2. Define Class Settings:
    Assign a Name to the class template.
    Add classes by selecting them from the Class dropdown.
    Set the corresponding Leg (From-To).
    Enter the Quantity for each class.
  3.  Configure Nesting Parameters:

Enable Nesting:

Check the Nesting box to include the class in a nested structure.

Set Minimum & Maximum Limits:

Min Amount: The minimum number of bookings required to activate this class.

Max Amount: The maximum number of bookings before the class is closed.

Define the Nesting String:

Enter the String of Nested Classes using a comma-separated format (e.g., A,B,C or C,D).

Classes within the same string will influence each other’s availability.

Close a Class

Check the "Closed" checkbox to close the class and prevent further bookings for this class.

 

Nesting Across GO7PSS 

 

Nesting functionality is available in multiple areas of GO7 PSS, allowing flexible control over class availability:

  1. Flight Screen: The nesting capabilities were added to the flight screen. 
  2. Bulk class update - The classes can be managed in bulk in order to set up the nesting logic.
    • Flight series screens - The nesting functionalities were added to the following actions:
      • Class templates
      • Add a class
      • Update class 
  3. Class templates - The nesting capabilities were added the nesting functionalities to the 'Class templates' Submodule.
