This functionality allows users to create, edit, and update ancillary services and their associated items in a faster and more efficient way.
The process works similarly to the fare mass upload/update tool, enabling bulk management through structured file uploads.
Before using this feature, it is important to understand its limitations. Since each ancillary service can include multiple service items, it is not possible to add new service items to an existing ancillary structure using the mass upload tool.
To introduce additional service items, users must either:
- Update the structure manually via the UI
- Create a new ancillary service structure (including the required items) and deactivate the previous one
☑️ Create the new ancillary / ancillary items structure
☑️ Update the existing ancillary / ancillary items
❌ Add more ancillary items to existing ancillary services structure
a) Mass creation of new ancillary services structure
- Go to Marketing > Ancillary Services and select the upload options:
- Download the .csv file with the example file structure:
- Populate the table based on the example file.
Important: the file structure contains 2 header rows describing fields in “ancillary services” as well as in sub-panel “ancillary items”. The minimal input would be to provide 2 rows of data (a single ancillary service and a single ancillary item contained within). - Ensure the structure of the provided data matches the example and values do not exceed limits.
| Parameter | Description / Accepted Values |

| Connection Ancillary | 0 (inactive) or 1 (active) |

| ACC Code | Max 4 characters |
| Selling Options | 1 = before and after ticketing 2 = only after ticketing 3 = only before ticketing |
- Once the file is prepared, upload it using the same menu as in step 2. A message should confirm the process was successful.
b) Mass update of existing ancillary services
The process is identical to the mass fare updates. The main difference is the use of ServiceID/ItemID to identify records.
- Select the desired ancillaries using filters, then download the .csv file using the “special export” button:
- Update the required fields within the file.
- Upload the updated file using the Update button:
