Check-in screen improvements

We would like to update you on a new feature for the check-in screen that enhances your experience by allowing you to enter the weight of each piece of baggage separately and input the weight of carry-on luggage.

To check-in a passenger with multiple pieces of baggage and a carry-on, first, click the button.png button. The, proceed to enter the weight of the first baggage. Add as many lines of baggage (NOPs) as needed and mark on the COW checkbox for carry-on baggage.

After clicking the save button, the system will calculate the total baggage weight and the carry-on weight separately. It will then generate baggage tags for the checked-in luggage, with the first line indicating the total weight of the checked baggage and carry-on baggage.

You also have the option to include the carry-on baggage weight and NOP in the manifest templates (Administration > Manifest Templates).

Overweight baggage check-in permission

Furthermore, we've introduced a new permission called 'Restrict overweight per user' (Administrations > Company settings). You can activate this permission to limit the baggage to be checked-in according to the baggage allowance set up in destinations/fares.

Under User settings, we have added a new permission 'Allow user overweight check-in' which you can allow users to insert overweight baggage during the check-in process.

You can check the baggage allowance by hovering over the Route/Class.
