We would like to update you about a new option added to the IBE that allows you to customize and translate the automated password recovery email sent from the IBE:
A new website clip was added to allow password recovery template customizations and translations.
The new clip can be found under the 'IBE > Website clips' sub-module.
we have automatically added the new clip to all existing systems with the default design of the password recovery email for the default language used on your IBE:
Use this clip to customize the email sent for the password resetting process, note that the text entered in the 'Internal name' field will be used as the email subject.
If you need to create a translated email for any of your website languages, duplicate the clip and assign it with the required language:
The relevant clip will be sent as an email in the language the user used in your website to request the password reset link, in case you do not have a valid clip for that language, the email will be sent with the default language version email.
Please make sure to use only the following tags when creating your customized email:
{{firstname}} - customer's/web agent's name
{{comanyname}} - System name
{{companylogo}} - Adds your company logo
{{tokenlink}} - Use it for the reset password page link
Please also make sure you DO NOT change the link URL in the clip so the password reset process will not be affected.
